ThreeDream CARLA town drive

The whole of CARLA Town10HD read out of the project's own .umap and OpenDRIVE .xodr bytes: 4,474 actors back on their coordinates, all 136 road-network waypoints landing on a driving lane (median miss 0.004 mm); 32 cars decide live over the same lane graph - car-following, braking, lane changes - and you sit in one of them, driving by default behind a chase camera, or hand the wheel to the autopilot.

Click to take the street in-page, same-origin with this page; pointer lock and fullscreen are allowed, and it opens full-page too. A cold first visit streams about 3.26 GB in 512 files; a second visit about 188 MB.

What is real in this town

01

The town is read, not rebuilt

The package reader opens Town10HD's own .umap: actor placements, meshes and materials come from the project's bytes; the OpenDRIVE reader yields roads, junctions and driving lanes, and all 136 waypoints are checked back against a driving lane with a 0.004 mm median miss - no road here is invented.

02

The traffic decides, not scripts

32 cars run over the road network's own lane graph: car-following look-ahead sets throttle and brake, steering reads the lane centreline, lane changes and off-road detection decide in the same step; one Rng seed means the same seed is the same traffic, digest-identical between Node and the browser.

03

The first visit's weight is stated

A cold first open streams 512 files, about 3.26 GB of town bytes, and the page does not hide it; the pack store keeps what landed on disk for next time, so a second visit is about 188 MB. That is the town's real cost, not a loading animation.

The town build is byte-identical to the one the ThreeDream page measures.
