Sleep earbuds live in an awkward middle ground: regular Bluetooth earbuds are too bulky for side sleeping, while proper earplugs are comfortable but can't play white noise. Neither solves the combo of a snoring partner plus wanting audio to fall asleep to. Sleap answers with extreme miniaturization: 2.7 g per bud with memory-foam tips and a shallow 4–5 mm insertion, so even side pressure feels like nothing. Passive isolation reaches an estimated SNR of 27–28 dB, which the maker compares to dedicated plugs like Loop Quiet. Inside sit a Bosch BMA530 MEMS accelerometer (billed as the world's smallest) and a 1 mm² PPG sensor for deep/REM/light sleep staging with morning insights; once you fall asleep, audio automatically transitions to noise masking or silence. By day it doubles as a Bluetooth 5.2 earbud. Launched in June 2025, it drew 2,719 backers and $336,182, about 3,362% funded.
