Pongbot Aura-The First Ultralight AI Coach Multi-Sport Robot

PongBot Aura from the Hong Kong team is the first ultralight multi-sport AI coach robot, packing tennis, pickleball and padel into one 7kg machine. It solves the universal problem of finding hitting partners and affording coaches: the AI coach corrects form in real time, replicates tactics from video, and serves more than 10,000 drills. Interaction runs on an LLM — plain speech changes training tempo — while a 120fps wide-angle vision system provides full-court tracking, AI refereeing and automatic rally scoring. Launched in May 2026, it raised about HK$31.5M (≈$4.01M) against a HK$156,654 goal — over 20,000% funding from 4,836 backers.
