Thread Boards 2.0 | 3D printable peg boards with a twist

Pegboards are a storage staple, but 3D-printing owners face their own annoyances: store-bought boards never fit the space, hooks wobble, and the accessory you want doesn't exist. Thread Boards 2.0 turns the pegboard itself into a print job. Boards come off your printer, and accessories attach with threaded screws — far steadier than ordinary pegs. The 2.0 release ships what the makers call the world's largest collection of organizational STL files (thousands of accessory designs) plus an online STL customizer that generates boards and parts to order. Accessories are universal across the system: one cup holder mounts on a wall, an e-bike or a TV tray. For anyone with a printer, it makes storage infinitely extensible. Launched in May 2024, it drew 2,389 backers and $116,927, about 3,898% funded.
