Rokid Glasses, World's Lightest Full-function AI&AR Glasses

The AI-glasses race is crowded with concepts that pick one trick: a display, or a camera, or speakers — and the more features packed in, the heavier the frames, until nobody wants to wear them all day. Rokid's answer squeezes everything into 49 grams, claiming the title of world's lightest full-function AI+AR glasses: dual-eye display, a 12MP first-person camera, live translation across 89 languages, Hi-Fi open-ear audio, and a ChatGPT-powered assistant for conversation, transcription and visual recognition. A 210 mAh in-frame battery is topped up by a 3,000 mAh charging case, and prescription frames make it genuinely daily-wearable. After a buzzy CES 2025 debut, the campaign drew 5,875 backers who pledged HK$31,355,827 (~$4.03M) — over 20,000% of its HK$156,000 goal, a landmark result for AI eyewear crowdfunding.
