WorkBox – A Completely 3D-Printable Enclosed WorkStation

About this project

Makers without garages know the drill: the bedroom desk becomes the workshop, solder smoke and sanding dust and resin scraps fly everywhere, and cleanup outlasts the work. Pegboards organize but don't contain; basic enclosures hold one machine, not a workflow. WorkBox is a 100% 3D-printable enclosed workstation: modular printed parts join with printed pins and clips — no metal screws — into a large clear chamber with an openable front window and hand-access ports. Debris drops into a removable tray, a rear port accepts a 6-inch exhaust hose for fumes, and an ecosystem of 100+ printable attachments adds holders, drawers and lighting; broken parts just reprint. Launched in July 2026, the project drew 1,208 backers and raised $70,527 against a $1,800 goal — about 3,918% funded.
