Rokid AR Lite, Your First AR Glasses for Spatial Computing

AR glasses split into two camps: head-mounted displays whose screen is glued to your face, and spatial-computing systems priced beyond reach. Rokid wants the second kind, made affordable. AR Lite is Rokid's entry spatial-computing kit. Wearing it unfolds a portable 300-inch screen, while a 3DoF system anchors the display in space — turn your head and the picture stays pinned where you left it instead of following your face. It runs three apps simultaneously across gaming, streaming and productivity scenarios, with a broad app library. An airplane seat or hotel room becomes a private cinema and mobile workstation in seconds. Launched in May 2024, it drew 2,222 backers and about HK$9.59 million (roughly $1.228M), around 6,136% funded.
