About this project

Content creators face a microphone dilemma: buy a lavalier, a handheld and an on-camera mic, each with its own sound signature, and still fix noise in post when the environment gets loud. BOYA Magic's answer is to merge several mics into one transformable device. The 13 mm-thin, 7 g body switches between four forms covering lavalier to handheld use. The centerpiece is AI noise cancellation developed over three years and 20,000+ R&D hours: a neural network trained on 700,000+ real-world noise samples suppresses up to 40 dB in strong mode, or trims 15 dB while preserving ambience in light mode. Audio specs hit 48kHz/24-bit, 80dB SNR and 144dB dynamic range, with a smart limiter and -12dB safety track preventing clipping. Launched in May 2025, it drew 2,701 backers and about HK$3.01 million (roughly $387K), around 23,657% funded.
