Agile Robots

Founded by researchers from the German Aerospace Center, Agile Robots develops software and hardware including humanoids, robotic arms, and warehouse robots. It acquired Franka Emika and BMW's AMR subsidiary in 2023, and ThyssenKrupp's automation engineering subsidiary in 2025, launching the full-size industrial humanoid Agile ONE in November 2025. With total funding exceeding $750 million and a $1 billion+ valuation, it was in talks for ~$800 million new funding in June 2026, with SoftBank considering over $300 million.
