Makes the mobile robot Proxie for collaborative cart and material handling in hospitals, factories and logistics centers; the latest version has two arms for handling and restocking. Led by Brad Porter, who previously ran Amazon Robotics and served as Scale AI's CTO. The first-generation robots logged nearly 13,000 hours, moving 154,000+ cart-loads for clients including Mayo Clinic and Maersk. The second-gen Proxie lifts 200+ lbs with fewer parts and lower cost; workers can write cart destinations on a whiteboard and Proxie reads and delivers autonomously. Cumulative funding US$160M.
