Gecko Robotics

Makes climbing robots and AI software to inspect power plants, pipes and warships. CEO Jake Loosararian founded the company after visiting a power plant as a student and seeing how dangerous manual inspection was, with a philosophy of digitizing the physical world through dirty, hard work. Later expanded into maintenance-planning software. In March 2026 it won a five-year, up to US$71M contract with the US Navy and GSA, starting with inspection of 18 Pacific Fleet vessels. Cumulative funding US$347M.
