Tashan Tech

Tashan Tech

Co-founded in 2017 by Sun Tengchen (Tsinghua automation graduate, inventor of planar and curved capacitance technology) and CTO Yang Wuqiang (Tsinghua PhD, deputy dean of the University of Manchester's electrical and electronic engineering school), Tashan created the world's first digital-analog hybrid AI tactile chip. Built on the R-SpiNNaker distributed spiking-neural-network architecture, it achieves 0.01N force resolution and can distinguish metal, fabric and paper by touch alone. Its TS-F fingertip tactile sensor fuses three-axis force sensing, proximity detection and material recognition, and the company holds over 80% share of the robot tactile-perception segment; in November 2025 it closed A3 and A4 rounds totaling hundreds of millions of RMB with 13 investors.
