Tiangong Robot
Beijing Tianxia Xianzhichuang Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (Tiangong Robot), founded in 2022 and headquartered in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, was started by Xiao Jun, former JD.com group VP and head of its X Business Division, who led JD's unmanned warehouses, delivery vehicles, drones and special robots. Focused on logistics sorting, it builds smart-logistics and high-speed sorting-humanoid solutions: the 3D high-speed sorter line includes the “Trojan Horse” sorter for small/multi-flow parcels with a one-column-multi-cart lift structure, the Trojan Horse 3D Sorter X expansion module that multiplies a single sorter's chutes 4-5x while cutting deployment cost and lead time, plus the Tiangong storage system, warehouse-automation equipment and the Tiangong WCS integration. With 200+ staff (about 85% in R&D), it serves e-commerce, express, retail, 3C and cold-chain sectors across China, Japan, South Korea, the US and Europe, has deployed at scale in real production lines of several global top e-commerce/express/retail firms, and is a core sorting-equipment supplier to many of them. In September 2026 it announced a Series A of several hundred million RMB led by Chuxin Fund with Matrix Partners China and Hefei state capital following (earlier shareholders included Matrix, Lighthouse Ventures and China Renaissance); funds go to scaling sorter production, R&D and commercialization of humanoid sorting robots, and overseas expansion.
