ugo Nova Wheeled Semi-Humanoid

Overview
ugo Nova is the domestic semi-humanoid robot launched on September 16, 2026 by ugo, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, founded 2018), positioned as an imitation-learning kit for AI robots that carries physical AI from R&D through to operation on industrial sites. The machine packs 22 degrees of freedom on a four-mecanum-wheel base: a 2-axis head (yaw + pitch), two 7-axis arms each ending in a 1-axis two-finger tactile gripper, a 4-axis waist (1 yaw + 3 pitch) and a 4-axis wheeled body; combined with a 350 mm lift stroke and a waist yaw axis it performs wide-range pick-and-place within an 843 mm arm reach, with dual-arm payload up to 10 kg in the designated work envelope for automating factory process steps. Perception and compute comprise one head stereo camera, two hand RGB cameras and an NVIDIA Jetson Thor main PC, with wired LAN above 5 Gbps, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and USB 3.2/3.1 expansion. ugo stresses whole-body coordinated control by AI models including the neck and waist, and wraps the platform in its ugo Physical AI Fabric product-and-service group that keeps the develop-operate-improve cycle of robot foundation models spinning, targeting tasks from kitting and inter-process transport to assembly work such as fitting and screw tightening. Runtime is about 6 hours on a LiFePO4 pack (50.6 V, 22 Ah) with roughly 2.5 hours charging, and travel speed spans 0.4-3.6 km/h. Industrial design is by GK Kyoto under the concept "Next Soft Precision".
