The ESP32-S3 based ATOM S3R from M5Stack is small enough, once removed from its case, to fit inside the upper bust of Smart Doll Cortex. A dedicated ATOM S3R bust and a magnetic bracket that holds the unit in place are being prepared, with STL files for both released free. Windows XP is the fun demo; the real pitch is programming the ATOM in C++ through the Arduino IDE to give a Smart Doll a voice via ChatGPT or Xiaozhi AI, attach cameras and environmental sensors, or run practical applications such as fall detection with alerts when an elderly person at home may need assistance.
