Xiaomi MiMo Desktop enters invite-only beta as a desktop agent
Xiaomi MiMo Desktop is now in invite-only beta, pitched as a desktop agent rather than another chat window: it takes raw material such as Office files, images, video, audio and even zips, understands the goal, plans the path and ships finished editable output. Previews of games, dashboards and demos load live in session so they can be clicked, broken and iterated without any local frontend setup; clicking or box-selecting a region updates only that part and every revision is versioned for rollback. Smart dispatch routes tasks to the right model and agents, browser and full computer use cover screen, keyboard and mouse across apps with record and replay, and partial regeneration plus in-session cache hit rates up to 99 percent keep long tasks affordable. Invitees also get free limited access to next-gen MiMo models during the beta.
