About this project

Home ambient lighting is repetitive — LED strips, sunset lamps, star projectors — pretty for a week, then background noise. Eye-catching light art is either overpriced or poorly made. HyperHedra builds infinity mirrors into pure geometry: the HyperHedron is an 11-inch tetrahedron, the HyperPyramid a 15-inch square-base pyramid, their inner patterns recurring endlessly like a lava lamp fused with a supernova. A microphone reads musical lows, mids and highs to drive 30+ sound-reactive patterns, while real mirrored acrylic and 50,000-hour Epistar LEDs keep it art-grade. Replaceable mirrors and sold-separately parts make it repairable, too. Launched in September 2023, the project drew 1,243 backers and raised $228,408 against a $10,000 goal — about 2,284% funded.
