About this project

Robot vacuums have evolved for over a decade yet still lose to one physical barrier: stairs. Multi-floor homes end up buying one robot per level, or carrying it up and down by hand. MIGO Ascender is the world's first stair-climbing robot vacuum and mop. A groundbreaking mechanical structure paired with AI algorithms climbs steps up to 22 cm tall and cleans an entire house hands-free. The cleaning specs are maxed out too: 9,700 Pa suction, 17N mopping pressure (roughly 3× typical models) with 4-zone 3,000-scrubs-per-minute washing. A square body with motorized omnidirectional wheels moves laterally along edges, while the world-first pivotable brush rotates 90° for corners and large debris. A fully enclosed all-in-one station handles auto-emptying and self-cleaning. Launched in March 2024, it drew 2,765 backers and $2,396,869, about 23,969% funded.
