JetKVM - Control any computer remotely

JetKVM launched from Berlin in October 2024 and became one of the most explosive geek-hardware campaigns in recent Kickstarter history: against a $50k goal, 45,880 backers pledged $5.9M — over 11,000% funded — and it earned a Staff Pick badge. It solves a classic problem: when your home server, your parents' PC, or a machine in a colo goes down, the only fix used to be showing up in person. JetKVM is a thumb-sized KVM-over-IP box — it captures HDMI video, emulates keyboard and mouse over USB, and pipes everything to your browser, so you can operate that computer from anywhere on Earth exactly as if you were sitting in front of it. That includes entering the BIOS, reinstalling the OS via mounted ISO images, and reviving bricked machines. What really fired up the community is the open-source commitment: both the hardware design and the firmware are fully open. At $69, it undercut commercial KVM-over-IP gear by an order of magnitude — the core reason it went viral.
