TCL Note A1 NXTPAPER is an established giant's answer to the category. Its 11.5-inch NXTPAPER paper-like display is covered by 3A Crystal Shield Glass and renders 16.7 million colors, keeping the paper feel without sacrificing color. The T-Pen Pro stylus targets paper-like writing. The real differentiator is AI: an AI Toolbox handles recording transcription and translation, meeting minutes, note polishing and summarization, with real-time translation while reading. Inspiration Space auto-categorizes multi-source content, notes, images, links and recordings, and answers questions over them. TCL stresses its AI runs on licensed data and compliant model services, with user content never used for training. Launched in January 2026, it drew 3,179 backers and about HK$12.36 million (roughly $1.58M), around 2,471% funded.
