About this project

NeoSander from HOZODESIGN rethought detail sanding from first principles: is the traditional chain of spinning motor → gears → rods really necessary just to move a sanding head? The answer is no. A vertically mounted linear motor drives the head directly in reciprocating motion — no gears, no rods, just fast, snappy strokes. The result is 13,000 SPM that stays under control: straight-line motion covers more area without gouging the workpiece, ideal for fine work. Eight head shapes tackle every tight spot, eight grits take you from rough shaping to mirror finish, and the Master Kit's foam sandpaper conforms to curves for even pressure without over-sanding high spots. With 14,738 backers, the campaign validated the 'real detail sander' positioning — most so-called detail sanders fail exactly where the work gets tricky.
