Acoustic players who want reverb and delay traditionally buy amps, pedals and cables — a moving crew for every gig — or just play dry. ToneWoodAmp2 is a multi-effects processor that mounts magnetically on the guitar back and excites the body itself: no amp, no cables. Generation two stacks up to four effects simultaneously, swaps the battery door for a rechargeable cell, and adds a free wireless app for tone shaping. The LiftKit mount moves it between any acoustic guitars in seconds, in a smaller body than before. Launched in October 2024, the project drew 1,264 backers and raised $293,844 against a $10,000 goal — about 2,938% funded.
