GL.iNet Comet Q: Wake, Unlock & Control Remotely

About this project

GL.iNet Comet Q fills a genuine gap: no KVM in the world was built for USB-C devices — until now. Phones, tablets, laptops, Mac minis: if the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, plug it in and wake, unlock and fully control the device from any browser. 2K@60FPS video with two-way audio and keyboard/mouse passthrough; a 1.8" touchscreen for local setup; Wi-Fi 6 for fast connections; an auxiliary Type-C port keeps the controlled device charged through long remote sessions. For anyone at home pining for a file on the office laptop, this is the antidote: plug in, open a browser, you're in.

Highlights

  • World's first USB-C KVM: laptops, phones, tablets and Mac minis
  • Browser is the client: wake, unlock and control from any browser, no software
  • Connects even when asleep: wake devices from sleep or lock screen remotely
  • One cable does it all: no more HDMI+USB+power+Ethernet tangle of traditional KVMs
