Windsible: Desktop Wind Tunnel for Your Diecast Cars Models

Diecast collections sit forever still — beautiful, but blind to the aerodynamics they celebrate — while real wind tunnels cost millions and live in labs. Windsible brings the wind tunnel to your desk: a transparent test section sized for diecast cars, with a proprietary smoke kit drawing visible streamlines over the body, so you can read airflow like an F1 designer. Built from ABS, PC and metal with lead-free PCBs, it comes in three sizes to match different scales — part display case, part science toy, part desk art. Launched in June 2024, the project drew 1,315 backers and raised about HK$2,091,000 (~$268,000) against a HK$78,000 goal — about 2,681% funded.
