Haptique RS90: A True universal remote controller

The irony of smart homes: the smarter the devices, the more fragmented the control — one remote for the TV, one app for audio, another for lights, and guests are lost. Cantata's Haptique RS90 aims to be the final remote: a hybrid of touchscreen and haptic physical buttons, with infrared, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth covering legacy appliances and modern devices alike. It integrates directly with Philips Hue, Sonos, Spotify and Home Assistant among others, running standalone without an extra gateway. Haptique OS supports custom one-click actions, and the flagship RS90X adds a fingerprint sensor for per-user policies. The target moment is simple: throwing five remotes into a drawer. Launched in June 2024, it drew 2,245 backers and about €782K (roughly $852K), around 8,693% funded.
