Traditional birding gear is long and fragmented: binoculars, camera, field guide, telephoto lens. MatataLab's Solvia 8×32 fuses them into one device: ED elements, a prism system and multi-group optics deliver 86% transmission and a 7.6° field of view, while a coaxially integrated imaging system captures 2952×1944 photos and video as you observe, with 32GB built in. The smart part is onboard AI trained on 100GB+ of bird data — it identifies 10,000+ bird species in one second at up to 98% accuracy, a field guide inside the binoculars, with the app extending recognition to animals and plants. Instant Wi-Fi streaming puts the view on your phone for social sharing; EIS, WDR and AI low-light enhancement keep footage clean, with 10-12 hours of continuous capture in a 680g body. Launched in August 2025, it drew 1,055 backers and raised about HK$2.7M (~$348k) — 2,703% of its HK$100,000 goal.
