BLEShark Nano: A Compact Wireless Multi-Tool for Hackers

About this project

Wireless security testing tools have long been polarized: either expensive, bulky professional rigs or DIY boards you solder and assemble yourself. Beginners and hobbyists get locked out. BLEShark Nano is Toronto's InfiShark's answer: a compact, standalone wireless multi-tool covering Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and infrared testing. A 500mAh battery delivers up to 16 hours in BLE mode and 6 hours over Wi-Fi, averaging 10 hours per charge. No extra hardware or setup needed — it works out of the box. With built-in games, apps, auto-updates and a buttery-smooth interface, it turns dry security assessment into something anyone can play with, making wireless testing accessible at every skill level. Launched in November 2024, it drew 2,098 backers and about CA$144,514 (roughly $100K), around 2,890% funded.
