AstroDroid

Founded by ex-Alibaba VP Bai Huiyuan as CEO, with chief scientist Chen Jiayu (PKU, Purdue PhD, HKU assistant professor) and CTO Wang Yizhou (Berkeley ME PhD, ex-Baidu and NVIDIA). AstroDroid focuses on embodied brains and full-stack AI infrastructure under a 'one brain, multiple bodies, multiple scenarios' strategy, with continuous-learning VLA, causal world models and tactile perception. Products include the AD-01 flagship humanoid, the compact Atom-series biped for education/home/companion use, the UltraDroid full-size humanoid and the FORCE automatic charging robot. It raised a seed round in March 2024 (CCV) and a hundreds-of-millions Pre-A in March 2025 (Liding Capital, Hangshi Industrial Investment, Xingtai Capital, CCV).
