DroidUp

Founded by Professor Li Qingdu, executive dean of the Machine Intelligence Research Institute at Shanghai University of Technology, with over 20 years of bipedal locomotion expertise. The company pioneered the world's first modular humanoid robot based on biomimetic tendon-drive technology. Its flagship Xingzhe No. 2 achieves 3m/s walking speed, 15cm obstacle clearance, 25% lower energy consumption than competitors, and 6-hour dynamic endurance. In July 2025, it launched Xingzhe No. 3 (1.7m, 38kg, 30 active DOF). The team's 2015 "Xingzhe No. 1" set a Guinness World Record by walking over 134km on 0.8 kWh, still unbeaten. It completed RMB 100 million Series A in October 2024 and won third place at the 2025 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon.
