WheeledTianji Robotics
Guangdong Tianji Intelligent Systems Co., Ltd. (Tianji Robotics), founded in 2015 and headquartered in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, grew out of a joint R&D center between Everwin Precision (300115.SZ, ~27% shareholder) and Yaskawa Electric, giving it access to Yaskawa's global supply chain and Everwin's ±1μm machining, plus joint labs with HKUST, SJTU and HIT. Unlike most players that start from whole machines, Tianji builds around core force-control technology and co-develops components, actuation systems and humanoid robots as one stack: MEMS joint torque sensors, lightweight integrated joint modules, force-control algorithms, control systems, humanoid force-control arms and a whole-machine platform. It calls itself the world's first to develop its own MEMS joint torque sensor (10x sensitivity, 4x impact resistance, joint force accuracy within 0.3 N·m) and ships integrated joint modules with an 8 kHz torque closed loop and four-loop control. Its Marvin arm line spans the M6S Lite (5 kg payload, 8 kg self-weight, an industry-best 62.5% payload ratio, 615 mm reach, ±0.05 mm repeatability), the M20S — the world's first humanoid force-control arm with a 20 kg single-arm payload (30 kg self-weight, 1050 mm reach, IP65) — and the fixed dual-arm Marvin Pro system (±0.03 mm, five cameras, Orin AGX 64G, demonstrated with VA-dex and AnyGrasp). In 2025 it delivered more than 2,000 force-control dual arms within four months, becoming the first company to mass-produce them; its Q1 2026 order backlog exceeded 10,000 units on cumulative shipments above 30,000 and more than 1,000 customers, covering 45 humanoid OEMs worldwide and keeping Marvin No.1 globally in both technology and sales. Its whole-machine brand Gento includes the wheeled folding humanoid Luna and the wheeled lifting humanoid Skye, which made their international debut at ICRA 2026 in Vienna (as a platinum partner) and domestic debut at WAIC 2026, and have since won large domestic and overseas orders with scaled delivery under way. The company has 200+ staff including 60+ in R&D, 136 patents, 52 software copyrights and 16,500 m2 of factory space. On capital: in May 2026 it closed a RMB 1B Series B and B+ led jointly by Hillhouse Ventures and Meituan Strategic Investment, with Tencent, Gaorong Capital, Guanghe Ventures and Jiyuan Capital following, at a post-money valuation near RMB 10B that made it a unicorn; on September 8, 2026 it announced a Series B++ strategic round co-led by Ant Group and SOFINA (Sofina Asia Private Ltd.), with existing shareholders Gaorong Capital and Tencent following on and Cygnus Equity as exclusive financial advisor — only three months after the previous round. Funds go to technology R&D, scaled mass production and global market expansion.
