Founded by Yang Fengyu, a Yale CS PhD born in 2000 with a University of Michigan CS degree, and guided by chief scientist Prof. Wang Hesheng (vice dean of SJTU's School of Electronic Information and IROS 2025 general chair). UniX AI targets consumer home embodied intelligence, billing itself the only mass-producing humanoid company with the consumer home as its endgame. Products include the Wanda wheeled dual-arm humanoid handling laundry and after-meal cleaning, plus the Panther/Martian series, on in-house UniFlex imitation learning, UniTouch visuo-tactile multimodal models and UniCortex long-horizon planning. It raised over RMB 600M across 2025 rounds (Zhongguancun Frontier Fund, Saina Capital, CICC Huirong) and runs a 2,500+ sqm factory in Suzhou.
