Westlake Robotics

Westlake Robotics

Co-founded by Dr. Wang Donglin, deputy director of Westlake University's AI department, and Du Haitao, former general manager of Alibaba's AI lab, Westlake Robotics is the first industry-transformation project of Westlake University's AI and robotics research. It focuses on end-to-end embodied large models with a third-generation VLA+RL route, a general brain-cerebellum dual-Pretrain architecture and the GAE behavior-expert model. Core products include the Titan o1 full-stack bipedal humanoid and the Aotian U1 quadruped, deployed via a pioneering one-operator-multi-robot teleoperation mode. In July 2026 it closed a new round exceeding RMB 100M backed solely by Henan Investment Group's Huirong Fund, bringing three rounds to hundreds of millions within five months.
