Nucleus II deployed to its first factories
Melvin Schwarz reports the first factory deployments of Nucleus II, a month after Nucleus Robotics came out of stealth. Customers were blunt about the three things they needed: 10 kg or more of payload, five to nine hours of uptime, and no legs, for safety. Nucleus II answers with up to 10 kg payload per arm, six times the battery capacity of Nucleus I, and a wheeled base. The team is not simply buying hardware: it pushes requirements back from the factory floor to its hardware partner and helps shape the next versions. The operating lesson behind the rollout is that only the factory tells you what to build, because weeks of perfect lab work can unravel in the first hours of a real deployment, and those failures are exactly what the team wants to find.
