Haydon Kerk Pittman (AMETEK, USA) can-stack rotary steppers are permanent-magnet can-type micro steppers: Z20000 Ø20 mm, 15° step, 0.46 Ncm (0.65 oz-in) holding / 0.12 Ncm detent; Z26000 Ø25.4 mm, 7.5°/15° step, 1.27 Ncm (1.8 oz-in) holding / 0.18 Ncm detent; ball or sleeve bearing versions suit gauge pointers, small valves and micro robot joints in low-cost open-loop positioning.
COMPONENT
Haydon Kerk Pittman (AMETEK, USA) can-stack linear actuators span Ø15-37 mm in six series (15000/Z20000/G4 19000/Z26000/G4 25000/G4 37000) with 3-100 µm travel per step, 7-260 N max force and strokes of 12.7-38.1 mm captive or up to 150 mm non-captive/external; captive, non-captive and external-drive screw formats suit optical focusing, microfluidic pumps and small robot end effectors.
Haydon Kerk Pittman (AMETEK) can-stack linear stepper actuators use a low-cost can-stack stepper driving a lead screw for compact, cost-effective linear motion in Captive and Non-Captive/External forms. Diameters span 15–36 mm (0.59–1.4 in), 6–100 µm travel per step, 3–260 N max force, 12.7–38.1 mm captive stroke and up to 150 mm non-captive/external stroke, suited to instrumentation, valve control and space-constrained automation.
