Haydon Kerk Pittman (AMETEK) can-stack linear stepper actuators use a low-cost can-stack stepper driving a lead screw for compact, cost-effective linear motion in Captive and Non-Captive/External forms. Diameters span 15–36 mm (0.59–1.4 in), 6–100 µm travel per step, 3–260 N max force, 12.7–38.1 mm captive stroke and up to 150 mm non-captive/external stroke, suited to instrumentation, valve control and space-constrained automation.
