Adaptev borrows the adaptive-headlight idea from Porsche and shrinks it onto your head. A digital micromechanical inertial gyroscope tracks your head in real time — the beam swings to wherever you look, with zero manual adjustment and both hands free. Beyond the patent-pending adaptive mode, six more modes (seven total) cover scenarios from maximum brightness in All On to focused Center Only. 360-degree surrounding illumination keeps you visible to others while fishing, running or hiking. The whole unit weighs just 96 grams with a skin-safe silicone band, IP67 waterproof and shockproof construction, USB-C charging, and 14+ hours of runtime on low. Launched in September 2023, it drew 1,729 backers and $116,475, around 2,330% funded.
