About this project

Video calls break eye contact: the webcam sits above the screen, so looking at people means looking down — studies show eye-contact calls are preferred 88% more and boost recall by 23%. ProHello puts the camera on a retractable arm at true eye level, aligned to 2° or 4° of your gaze. A 13MP Sony sensor delivers 4K, dual mics cut noise, and a Bluetooth SoftLight adjusts color temperature. New: Windows Hello facial login, with the flip-up arm physically cutting power to the main camera and mic while the face-recognition camera stays ready. Its predecessor won a 2025 Red Dot and Zoom certification, and the companion app adds live tuning, logo overlays and sound bites. Launched in August 2025, the project drew 1,153 backers and raised $239,493 against a $10,000 goal — about 2,395% funded.
