LemurStrap: Go anywhere, get the shot

Photographers know strap pain: a slung camera swings behind you within steps, lens banging upward, screen grinding against jeans rivets — and by the time you fish it out, the moment is gone. LemurStrap solves it with a patented baseplate: it mounts to the camera base via a universal tripod quick-release, the strap connects at the plate corners, and the camera rests flat against your body — lens down, screen up, stable in every position. The screen stays clear of buckles, and the same plate swaps instantly between strap, tripod and other quick-release gear for grab-and-go shooting. Launched in August 2024, the project drew 1,149 backers and raised $112,758 against a $10,000 goal — about 1,128% funded.
