MicroCam X1 | 4K Pocket Microscope Camera for Outdoor

About this project

Spotting the fine hairs on a butterfly wing, then capturing a sweeping mountain vista, usually means hauling extra lenses plus a lab-bound microscope. LiTTPOPO's MicroCam X1 folds all three jobs into one 160-gram pocket device: a 400x microscope, 3 cm macro view, and a 4K/12 MP camera. The core is a 180-degree twist-to-switch lens: one rotation takes you from a 24 mm field of view down to 0.01 mm microscopic detail with zero accessory swaps. Insect compound eyes, coin ridges, ice crystals and petals become crisp images, while time-lapse and slow-motion modes plus a wrap-around mount free your hands to film blooming flowers or moving insects. A vivid 3.5-inch screen shows results instantly, simple enough for kids. Launched in June 2025, it drew 1,792 backers and about HK$1,405,276 (roughly $179K), around 2,811% funded.
