VFLEX: Power Everything with USB-C

For 50 years, electronics have run on AC-to-DC bricks in endless voltage and connector combinations: 9V, 12V, 24V, either polarity, every barrel size. Hunting down the right one is close to impossible, and travel turns it into a disaster. Werewolf's VFLEX wants to end the mess with one adapter. The idea is clever: a single base with configurable output voltage, paired with a family of low-cost adapters that find the right connector. It works with any USB-C Power Delivery supply up to 50V/5A — the full USB-C spec envelope — and the campaign offers two AC and two battery-powered supplies that double as normal chargers. A free app programs voltage manually, a $12 add-on meter reads real-time voltage, current and power, and guitar pedals get dedicated orange center-negative adapters. Fewer bricks bought, less e-waste landfilled. Launched in June 2025, it drew 1,779 backers and $141,760, around 473% funded.
