Its premium price kept it out of reach for many kids, which is exactly why it became a legend. Forty-three years later, French collector David 'Flynn' Oghia brings it back at 1:2 scale. Three years in development and unveiled to rapturous crowds at Gamescom, Vectrex Mini ships with 12 timeless vector games, a Bluetooth analog controller faithful to the original joystick, classic color screen overlays, plus a limited white collector's edition. The campaign struck pure nostalgia gold on Kickstarter: 6,069 backers pledged €1,211,184 (~$1.4M), blowing past the €110,000 goal at over 1100% funded.
