MeowKit — Versatile Device for Makers

Hardware tinkerers all share the same desk of doom: boards used exactly once — an Arduino here, an STM32 there, ESP everywhere — bare PCBs tangled in jumper wires, no case, no UI, and every new feature means reflashing everything. Developer whitecliff set out to fix all of it in one device. MeowKit is a pocket-sized maker terminal: a CNC-6061 metal unibody loop, built-in display, multi-app launcher and transparent BSP drivers, ready out of the box. It integrates LLMs like Qwen, DeepSeek and ChatGPT for multilingual voice chat with voiceprint recognition, and via the MCP protocol can programmatically control your computer's windows, mouse, keyboard and screen under auditable authorization — automating clicks, typing and screenshots. For security researchers it ships BLE Beacon and WiFi protocol exploration tools; for makers, Arduino-like GPIO plus a fully open SDK invite endless extension. Launched in September 2025, it drew 1,440 backers and about HK$1,504,270 (roughly $194K), around 3,009% funded.
