Cosori JUNI asks the question — can real pour-over quality be automated? JUNI is an automatic pour-over machine from kitchen-appliance veteran Cosori (Tustin, CA). A retractable nozzle and rotating basket work together to recreate the spiral, circular and center pours of a barista's hand; laminar flow saturates the grounds evenly without channeling; staged water dosing controls how flavor extracts, while gentle agitation releases gas during blooming and flattens the bed for even extraction. The open basket puts the whole show on display — the bloom rising, water pouring, aroma filling the room. The AI app scans bean packaging to auto-fill details and generate recipes, and after each cup you rate acidity, sweetness, bitterness and body so JUNI keeps refining; four modes span one-touch to fully custom Barista Mode. Before launch it earned SCA Certified Home Brewer status and brews to the SCA Gold Cup Standard. The project launched on Kickstarter in July 2026, drawing 1,361 backers and $273,887, roughly 2,739% of its goal.
