ENVISION from UNISTELLAR — the team that reinvented the telescope via crowdfunding — is smart binoculars for stargazing and outdoor exploration. Optics are designed with Nikon, and the core innovation is an AR precision orientation system overlaying contextual data in the natural optical view: trails, peaks and refuges by day; stars, comets, galaxies and planets by night. By day it guides like a local outdoors expert; by night it observes like a seasoned astronomer, online or offline. UNISTELLAR has already shipped four smart telescopes to 25,000 users. Launched in June 2024, it raised about $2.78M against a $2.5M goal — 111% funding from 3,700 backers.
