FAULHABER brushed DC motors span 6-38 mm series and are built on the self-supporting skew-wound ironless coil invented by Dr. Fritz Faulhaber.

The FAULHABER 1024...SR series are Ø10 mm coreless-winding DC micromotors: 9 V nominal (3-12 V across the series), no-load speeds to 12900 rpm, rated torque up to 1.7 mNm and stall torque up to 5.1 mNm at 82% peak efficiency, weighing just 10.8 g. Rotor inertia 0.12 gcm² and a 3.5 ms mechanical time constant give very fast dynamics; nickel-plated steel housing, -30 to +85 °C operation, stackable with planetary gearheads and encoders for dexterous hands, micro actuators and precision instruments.
FAULHABER (Germany) linear actuators convert coreless DC / brushless rotary motion into linear travel via precision lead or recirculating ball screw nuts: 06L (6 mm dia, 3-25 N continuous axial force), 08L (8 mm, 4-40 N) and 10L (10 mm, 5-200 N; high-load HL version 100-200 N), with reduction ratios 4-1024; trapezoidal lead screw and ball screw nut options (ball version for higher speed/efficiency), custom stroke and length, paired with 0308-1028 DC/BL micro motors (up to 90,000 r/min) and planetary/spur gearheads (i 4-4096, zero-backlash versions), used in robotics, laboratory automation, medical and optical positioning.
