Founded by Wang Xingxing, a Zhejiang native with degrees from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Shanghai University, who left a brief stint at DJI to start the company. Unitree is a global leader in legged and humanoid robotics with fully self-developed motors, reducers, controllers, LiDAR and perception/motion algorithms. Its lineup spans the consumer Go2 quadruped (~70% global share, 50,000+ units sold), the industrial B2 and the H1/G1/R1 humanoids (5,500 units shipped in 2025, world No.1). It closed a Series C in June 2025 led by China Mobile, Tencent, Alibaba, Ant and Geely at a valuation above RMB 10B, and completed its IPO in August 2026 at a RMB 61B market cap as China's first robotics stock.
